I bought mine from amazon.com for $55
Speedy delivery. Unit looks like a ps3 controller. But the guts inside don't match the response feedback.
I will press buttons and have to jam the button just to get a response. I hold r2 to do commands and sometimes it drops off and I have to lift finger and rehold. It's hard enough concentrating on game but now I gotta wrestle with controller...
I find buttons that respond best then assign important abilities to those and go on from there... So my suggestion. If u can get a ps3 controller to work with your PC great!
Save your money. I can't get a refund. Like an avid fan I trashed the packaging as soon as I opened it expecting luxury and got a lemon instead.

Hmm, that's a shame to hear. I'm using a wired 360 controller to play right now, but I'd love to find something with a better D-pad, without having to use the marshmallow-like L2-R2 buttons on a PS3 controller. Who knows, hopefully they can update the drivers to get it working more responsively; I just hope it's not the hardware itself that's unreliable.

Amazon will let you return, even if you don't have original packaging. Sometimes they make you pay for shipping it back, sometimes not. Either way, a controller shouldn't cost too much to ship and you'll get your money refunded.

Are you sure it's the controller and not your PC? Try it with a less resource-intensive game, one your PC can actually handle, and it might be more responsive.

I personally use a Logitech F310 though I also had good experience with the dual shock 4 controller once you actually get it set up to work. I rarely trust "official" game add on stuff as its usually poor quality and more a cash grab than an enhancement to your experience.

I got two one for me and my gf back in 1.0 when it was release for around 14$ it did not last very long. I also remember the driver having issue and giving everyone BSOD. Overall it was a very poor build controller and later got myself a xbox 360 wired controller and never look back. Wanted to get a PS3 one but did not want to deal with the driver thing so i just learn how to use a 360 and been using it for over 1 year still working just like new.

$55 for that thing? Geez, I think I paid like $20 including shipping, from Amazon even. It's definitely not worth $55.

I bought mine back in 1.0 days and it still works, but I probably just don't use it enough since I have 360 controller. It's mostly just for games that don't like that one. I'd probably sooner pick up a PS2 controller with an adapter or a PS3/PS4 controller instead.

I bought 2 back when 1.0 was released, bought 2 more for $12 each.......none work anymore, some have broken buttons, some have broken analog sticks and I treat them just like my ps2 controller which Ive had for like 13 years. It was a horrible product, SE should be ashamed of themselves for attaching their brand to such a shitty controller. Less than 6 months lof usable lifespan if you treat the controller like a newborn baby...
