    Franciscas: Usage amongst players

I have a lot of crafting mats I need to get rid of, and making franciscas is a definite possibility.

So, how often do you guys actually use these? And what rate do you go through them, is it an everyday restock type deal? Is there a good market for these in your opinion?

Thanks for any responses, should be interesting.

I used to use them when i was starting out to pull a mob away from aggro mobs. But once you get provoke or taunt they become pretty useless and I dont even carry any with me anymore. The little bit of damage they do isnt really worth the inventory space.

Haven't ever used them. If every meleer could multishot them or got weaponskills for them it'd be different. I pull with disorient or siphon mp if needed.

Their range is pretty awful, it definitely needs to be increased for throwing weapons to be useful in any way.

I'd say most Marauders don't use them. The only time I've ever used them was when I was still low level enough to die on NMs. Then, when I was weak, I'd stand back outside of the mob's attack range, and throw franciscas at the mob until weakness wore off.

Otherwise, you've usually got an Arc to do ranged pulls, or it can be done with a ranged WS like Disorient.

By the way, Ulath, you probably already know this. But you don't want to pull with Provoke or Taunt. Those skills don't generate any hate; they just seem to push you to the top of the hate-meter. If you're starting at zero hate, then Provoke/Taunt is not going to get you a ton of hate. So you want to pull with something like Disorient, and then use Provoke or Taunt after the party has built up some hate. (Of course, this could all change when the new battle system comes out. )

Ya I was specifically talking about solo situations. Like trying to pull a leve mob away from aggro mobs, just use whatever skill you want instead of franciscas. Hate isnt important soloing. In a party there is no reason for me to pull anything as a marauder since we have gladiators for tanking.
