Pre the 2.1 patch - on turn 4 - phase 2 knights and soldiers as a dragoon i would attack the OT's knight first and apply a couple of dots and use my elusive jump to deaggro and move to the MT knight.

You can imagine if i got the angle wrong i would land right in the middle of the main tanks soldier and knights lol ^^

Not me personally but i seen one mate use elusive jump and jump of the path on the demon wall in AK.

Also seen another mate use elusive jump during phase 1 turn 5 and hit the wall ^^ XD

In one word: JUMP

Jump while trying to run out of plumes (macro'd to True Trust)
Elusive jump...past the edge of Titan's battle area and off to the bottom
Spineshatter drive to try and jump out of plumes (not realizing at the time that it doesn't count the actual animation of my SSD to determine my actual location).
SSD or DFD to get in range, just as some kind of attack was about to pop that I shouldn't be in range of.

I did manage to Elusive Jump out of Dark Mist while in Haukke HM, which prompted the tank to note how stylish my move to get out of danger was

using elusive jump when i should of jumped (i moved it far far away from my more important bindings)
and the classic 0 DoTs fester...

Pre patch DFD into Firestream on t2, it was pretty though.

Fighting ifrit in swimsuits, for the fire resist bonus.

The embarrassing part is, I still do it occasionally going; "Why, why did I do that?!".

Or shoulder tackle into a landslide when you time it wrong and smack yourself in the head...

Titan EX, use jump just when plumes come out.

Titan EX as BLM. Used manawall on start of heart phase (habit from HM where heart lasts 60s not 90s). Gets to spiral bomb+landslide "oh I haven't taken any hits for manawall, I'm safe," 75% into the cast thinking "well, I'm dead. oops."
