* The sad thing is that FFXIV turned RDM into a turret, and people think that's what it's supposed to be. It's supposed to combine sword and magic into something more, not spend the bulk of gameplay spamming spells and jump into melee for only 3 GCDs before scurrying back to the back line like good little casters.
* Design ideas:
Red Mage - COMPLETE (https://tinyurl.com/y6tsbnjh), Chemist - Second Pass (https://tinyurl.com/ssuog88), Thief - First Pass (https://tinyurl.com/vdjpkoa), Rune Fencer - First Pass (https://tinyurl.com/y3fomdp2)
You know there is no point in encoraging SE to do something we all know they will do anyways. I can already picture Primal Nightmare Mode.
Besides we are getting 2 Hard Mode dungeons per Major update. What is stopping them from adding a different dungeon with the name Praetorium (Hard).
They may just call it Magitek Research Facility because it would be a a completely different dungeon from Praetorium normal mode and have music for the dungeon be remix versions of Final Fantasy VI musics.
Having a remix version of this would be nice...

It was a joke.
I highly doubt SE would go to that extreme to introduce these primals again.
Most likely they'll just introduce a new Fire, Earth, and Wind Primal in the game instead that has completely different mechanics.
I highly doubt they'll do Hard Praetorium/Meri considering circumstances but from 1.x > ARR they chopped down some dungeon sizes so it's very much likely we'll see:
TamTara Hard
Satasha Hard (It was a hotpot of Cassopeia Hallows, Mistbeard Cove (or something) and Shosphae)
Amdapor Ruins.
Then we'll likely see:
Toto Rak Hard
Darkhold Hard
(insert new dungeon)
Hard mode of these dungeons would be fun but they seem very much complete (and ran through), the 'hard mode' copperbell for example based on 1.0's design still has room for further expansion actually.
Hard mode praetorium would be nice. I enjoy that dungeon.

u sure didn't read the storyline text didn't u OP? The Ultima Weapon we fought is what remains of the mostly original Allagan parts and a little fraction of Garlean magitek parts strapped on it. Proto UW won't happen unless the Garlean have largely reverse engineered Allagan technology
When they found Ultima it was actually badly damaged. It took time and knowledge of allagan technology provided by Lahabrea to bring it back to actually functioning state.u sure didn't read the storyline text didn't u OP? There are also signs they have tried to replocate Ultima since as you progress to Ultima you will encounter failed Ultima parts called Proto-Ultima Arms.
These Proto-Ultima parts always retract back into the hole they appear from when defeated so it is unknown if these Proto-Ultima Parts have stopped function or not.
Also we do not know how much knowledge did Lahabrea gave to Gaius but due to the vast knowledge that the Ascians have about the Allagans and their technology Lahabrea can give him enough information to create a Proto-Ultima that uses Garlean Magitek.
Sorry but when it comes to dungeons I separate loot out from how the Dungeon Mechanics work.
better we stop discussion here since we calculate the value of dungeons differently.
