I see nothing wrong with Turn 2 enrage mode. Why are you mad?

Then those who dislike it shouldn't participate, it doesn't directly affect anyone else? Find a group willing to do T2 legit and you'll be on your merry little way.
It affects them because it cheapens their "honest" wins, and it means people with poorer skill can get past what ordinarly required competent players. Since SE legitimized it its nearly impossible to do it the "legit" way now. It takes less time, but everyone would rather have loleasy rather than faster runs.
It takes nothing from their "honest" wins at all, if you manage turn 2 with all the mechanics in effect, good for you! I along with many others have done so too, we just prefer enrage mode now to get coil completed quicker/easier (Since it's like a 1% wipe chance rather than constant wipes from rot infested pillocks). It affects them because it cheapens their "honest" wins, and it means people with poorer skill can get past what ordinarly required competent players. You can choose not to join those groups, though they are the most common these days. I remember before joining the static I'm in now which was before Enrage mode became the norm I couldn't do a PUG T2, because people were too stupid to pass the rot correctly. Formation would be in shambles after the first passing and cause a wipe. My static was able to do the old method just fine and can do 2 healer Enrage just fine so neither of our tanks would be left out. Comes down to it just make your own PUG for t2 to do it the"correct" way or ask your static if you guys can do it the normal. There's more than one way to do something but the set in stone of doing it one way people feel it should be done "their" way. aka the way 99% of the people know it from the Mr. Happy videos.
What stops a static from doing this the normal way and not enrage mode? provided they are a full static and consider the enrage mode "cheap" they will not come across this "impossible" issue you are describing. It affects them because it cheapens their "honest" wins, and it means people with poorer skill can get past what ordinarly required competent players. As per what the OP is suggesting. I honestly don't care. it's not like T1 is difficult either, and by legitimizing T2 enrage mode the devs have made it easier for non-static groups to at least get SOME coil gear and hopefully some T4 and onward practice.
Plus, Good luck actually finding a Turn 2 normal group due to this.It affects them because it cheapens their "honest" wins, and it means people with poorer skill can get past what ordinarly required competent players. The fact FCs can sell Titan HM runs (and other things) means that the end-game was already 'cheapened' and just shows doing ANYTHING is no indication of one's own personal skill, only people who worry about how others do something are going to be bothered with this and they really need to get a life.It affects them because it cheapens their "honest" wins, and it means people with poorer skill can get past what ordinarly required competent players. Says who? Where was it ever mentioned that enrage in T2 is supposed to be a game-ender? T4 has an enrage that people hit all the time, so if we apply this logic in general I guess hitting the enrage on T4 should also be an instant wipe causing the party to start over.
Either method is easy, one is just good for groups that don't have the communication, compatibility, and cohesion a practiced static will have. It's not that big of a deal.
