Plus, Good luck actually finding a Turn 2 normal group due to this.It affects them because it cheapens their "honest" wins, and it means people with poorer skill can get past what ordinarly required competent players. Since SE legitimized it its nearly impossible to do it the "legit" way now. It takes less time, but everyone would rather have loleasy rather than faster runs.
The fact FCs can sell Titan HM runs (and other things) means that the end-game was already 'cheapened' and just shows doing ANYTHING is no indication of one's own personal skill, only people who worry about how others do something are going to be bothered with this and they really need to get a life.It affects them because it cheapens their "honest" wins, and it means people with poorer skill can get past what ordinarly required competent players. Says who? Where was it ever mentioned that enrage in T2 is supposed to be a game-ender? T4 has an enrage that people hit all the time, so if we apply this logic in general I guess hitting the enrage on T4 should also be an instant wipe causing the party to start over.
Either method is easy, one is just good for groups that don't have the communication, compatibility, and cohesion a practiced static will have. It's not that big of a deal.

Sounds like you know how to develop video games. You know what they say, if you can't change it from the outside, change it from the inside: http://tbe.taleo.net/CH01/ats/career...ARE_ENIX&cws=1

It doesn't.
The normal way is simply a strategy check on the group. If you so choose to do the enrage method it becomes a gear check. People just don't really tend to acknowledge the later due to the fact the enrage method didn't really come about until way after players were more heavily geared with myth and allagan sets. Like I said either way is very easy it just depends on which method tailors better to your group.
Says every other Final Fantasy game ever. Heck, they put in enrage counters in XI just to stop people from taking too long to kill. You ever try and kill KB after he enrages? Do not be surprised if they put in a real enrage in a patch or two, just to watch people scream.Says who? Where was it ever mentioned that enrage in T2 is supposed to be a game-ender? They have already said its a viable strat. Deal with it and move on. There is more than one way to do an encounter. Don't be mad because someone figured out a super easy way to do so.
*Dead....whiny....horse

Simple answer, this isn't final fantasy XI or any of its predecessors.

Every enrage implemented in every game ever. Enrages tend to give you at the most a couple of seconds to get the kill in if you're 1-5% away from the win, then the raid dies. Either because of a massive damage spike, a one-shot-kill-all attack or the room blowing up. The point of the enrage is that if you failed to meet the requirements to avoid it you are going to die and have to start over.
Alhanelem is right in saying this is poor implementation. I also wouldn't attach myself too much to the CM post on this, as the devs also said Dark Devices was fine and there were no plans to change it, and then Dark Devices was adjusted.
* The sad thing is that FFXIV turned RDM into a turret, and people think that's what it's supposed to be. It's supposed to combine sword and magic into something more, not spend the bulk of gameplay spamming spells and jump into melee for only 3 GCDs before scurrying back to the back line like good little casters.
