    Please patch Turn 2 enrage

    It's a cheap strat, even if devs said its ok. "They originally said DD was working as intended and they nerfed that".

    I'm so tired of seeing Turn 2 Enrage strat in BCB. And now people are 1 Tanking turn 1 - 4 with the enrage strat on t2 leaving a ton of tanks left out. It's not in the design of the mechanics of the rest of the raid, how is it not considered broken?

    I mean SE, you went through all the trouble to design all the mini bosses with mechanics you can choose to leave in and take out. Then you made it so people can just go "meh who cares" "MEdica Spam II on" and still win. And then you supported it.

    Yet you patch the tree glitch on the first boss in AK, Nerf Dark Devices, fix the "jump off the platform with medica II Titan HM glitch" etc, and you say this one is ok and working as designed?

    Seriously confused SE.

    Greetings,

    The development team is aware of the strategy that is being used for the Binding Coil of Bahamut Turn 2 against ADS and they do not consider it to be an exploit. There are currently no plans to make any adjustments.
    That is what they are saying, but they might change their minds and 'fix' it. Who knows.

    While I agree, I think the type of players who do enrage strat(yes plenty of competent players do it this way as well since it is basically a free win vs even 1% chance of a wipe) will have a lot of trouble completing T1 and T4 with just one tank... I think tanks get the nice end of the deal with this one.

    Tanks are the most uncommonly and most desired role to fill. You now have the ability to start and form an, essentially, free win group for Turn2 -- and you will get all of the tank drops.

    People consider it cheap/exploitative, as it is supposed to be a game-ender but fails to do so and it disables all other fight mechanics.

    The only disadvantage is it takes longer.

    Then those who dislike it shouldn't participate, it doesn't directly affect anyone else? Find a group willing to do T2 legit and you'll be on your merry little way.

    It affects them because it cheapens their "honest" wins, and it means people with poorer skill can get past what ordinarly required competent players. Since SE legitimized it its nearly impossible to do it the "legit" way now. It takes less time, but everyone would rather have loleasy rather than faster runs.

    It takes nothing from their "honest" wins at all, if you manage turn 2 with all the mechanics in effect, good for you! I along with many others have done so too, we just prefer enrage mode now to get coil completed quicker/easier (Since it's like a 1% wipe chance rather than constant wipes from rot infested pillocks).

Comes down to it just make your own PUG for t2 to do it the"correct" way or ask your static if you guys can do it the normal. There's more than one way to do something but the set in stone of doing it one way people feel it should be done "their" way. aka the way 99% of the people know it from the Mr. Happy videos.

    What stops a static from doing this the normal way and not enrage mode? provided they are a full static and consider the enrage mode "cheap" they will not come across this "impossible" issue you are describing.

    As per what the OP is suggesting. I honestly don't care. it's not like T1 is difficult either, and by legitimizing T2 enrage mode the devs have made it easier for non-static groups to at least get SOME coil gear and hopefully some T4 and onward practice.
