STR gear combination

why do monks and dragoons have separate loot tables for gear when they both use STR?

WAR and PLD share.
SNM and BLM share.
SCH and WHM share.
BRD is the only dex user.
MNK wont share.
DRG wont share.

play nice. combine their gear. no one cares if a dps is supposed to be more "tanky" than another.

you are absolutely right, they should share str armor.. but there are tradition SE won't let go of (chocobo, primals, Cid..etc)

Traditionally (according to them) monk uses light armor while dargoon uses heavy armor, in ffxi I believe the harness sets (either metal, leather or bone) were the only things shared between monk and dragoon and other melees example scorpion harness.. If they would add shared equip like those harnesses it would be great
