just building simple leather

hello everyone, please someone answer

so I started leather crafting and I got how it works, it s pretty good and I like it.
unfortunately the only thing that I got stuck now (@ level 10) beacause I am missing one ingredient which I can t figure out what it is.
is it fire shards? (if so I am screwed because in missions they don't reward me with that stuff anymore) then how many do I need, if that s the case

I just need to know what is the second ingredient to make simple leather

Pick up Botany or Miner (my guess would miner would probably find them sooner than botany) and just go and gather fire shards. I spent like 30 minutes and had gathered around 150-200 shards once. This also helps all your crafts when you need shards (or any material for that matter, you will save a fortune on iron ore if you go mine it yourself) Plus shards are generally low level so you don't have to raise the gathering class to high just enough to start gathering the shards you need. :3 Hope that helps :3

To answer your question though, do you mean the plain simple level 1 leatherworker item leather? If so its a single animal skin and a single earth shard. If you meant the level 8 hard leather then its animal hide (instead of skin) and another single earth shard. The next one isn't until Aldgoat leather at level 17, which is aldgoat skin, alumen (has to be mined or bought from market boards) and an earth shard

The synthesis window should show you how many you have of each ingredient (NQ and HQ) as well as how many shards. Look for the ingredient that is not "lit".

Yeah...LWK uses mostly earth shards and earth crystals. Yeah the recipe shows you everything so just look at the screen really good before making anything.
