

No, it doesn't put you in standard mode. Locked on is different. It will keep you at the same distance as you strafe. Standard you still have to turn as you strafe to do so.That's my current horrible, horrible fix.
If you're locked on, why not just use Standard controls? It basically temporarily puts you in standard mode. Only difference is that if locking on, if an aoe spawns, you need to unlock, then move or you're flat out dead. At least standard can just swing their cmaera and strafe out.
Why not just have it so left analog stick strafes left and right and hitting back makes you run backwards once you pass a certain angle?

I meant that by locking on, you gain all the negatives of the standard control scheme and more. You can't back up and you can't turn your camera and strafe either. There's absolutely no reason to use Legacy if you're just going to lock on to everything. The way it works is slightly different, but it still has all the negatives that drive lots of people away from standard in the first place.
