Forced loot at end of dungeon?! (Crystal Tower specifically)

So, I go and do CT, we kill the last boss, and I'm a DRG. Yet, BRD loot drops, and then everyone leaves and I get FORCED to take it? So now I have to wait a week to get anything I want? That's a load of crap. I don't pay 15$ a month to wait because something's wrong with the loot system.

I want my account's roll timer unlocked so that I may obtain something I NEED rather than something that's completely useless to me! Of course there's no "Ticket" submission option in the game really, so I'm posting it here, because I know the devs will come across it.

This isn't a request fyi. I'm not going to sit and wait for a week to do CT for gear because the system has a flaw. Bard gear? COMPLETELY USELESS TO ME! I only have 2 level 50 classes! Arcanist and Lancer. And I can't obtain a piece of EITHER because of this nonsense.

I'll submit a bug report regardless, but I don't want the stupid Bard headpiece. Unlock my roll timer, delete the hat and I'll be on my way. Very simple request, in fact pathetically easy to go about doing. I'd do it myself, BUT I DON'T WORK FOR YOU GUYS! So. FIX IT! I only have the ONE character. Not like you have to ask questions.

This does seem like a huge oversight on Square-enix's half. I was doing a CT run the other day with a Party Finder party and everyone, except the party leader skipped the cutscene, looked at the loot, passed on the loot and exited. Then we get a message in party chat from the leader saying he'd been forced a piece of gear because he was on the PS3 and it took him about 40 seconds just to get out of the cutscene once he'd skipped it. Really I feel the way the loot system should work with this is, if everyone leaves before the loot has been decided then timer should just carry on so the last person left in there can decide if they want it or not rather than being given it by default. Also if the timer runs out without someone choosing pass/greed/need, and everyone else has chosen "pass", then the gear, at least in CT, should just be abandoned. In the long run I think people are gonna be less annoyed about missing the piece of gear they want because they were too slow to look at the loot list than being forced a piece of gear they do not need or want and may never even use and get locked out of trying to get the loot they actually want for a week.

best advice i have for now is if you go in with friends, or your randoms are friendly, ask them to stay behind for you while you get a chance to roll/pass on gear if you know your system might be slow. i'm on PS3 so i usually request someone to stay with me so i don't get screwed.

@OP: patch notes are your friend .. oh, and a piece of advice: drop the attitude, it won't get you anywhere.

I'm sorry KraggyKor, but my attitude has nothing to do with you, and YOU should learn to direct yours elsewhere. I have every right to be irritated. I pay 15$ a month and Square Enix has screwed me over for a week. How nice of them. So, a piece of advice? When I want your opinion/attitude, I'll request that you walk off a cliff instead. Thank you for your understanding.
