Well..just a point of reference, Cloud from FF7 was able to spin the Buster Sword (or whichever heavy-ass sword he had equipped) between his fingers...up in the air above his head. >.> Also, barret had a gun-hand which created an energy blast for his limit breaks. And there was a talking wolf-beast (Nanaki) that hit harder based on what pin was in his hair. Tifa had stick arms but punched for 9999 damage. Just figured I'd point out that in Final Fantasy, the adventurers and main characters were never very realistic in terms of strength vs reality.

Not saying I completely agree with OP, not saying I don't. I personally liked the different stances in FFXI. The Elvaan were stronger so they held it somewhat casually, but the Mithra had a side-stance with the polearm up and ready to pierce. I'd also like to see some variety in casting types between races and classes like the way BLM looked different from WHM in XI.

Edit: Wasn't trying to be a dick, just saying I get where people that make that statement are coming from.

Insulting people in the counter argument isn't going to change their minds. It will make them stick harder to their opinion regardless of whether or not it's right, and think less of your opinion simply because you insulted them. In essence, if you want to try and change someone's mind, come up with a well thought-out response and don't be a dick.
