Weaver level 50 - how to make some gil

Hello, i have recently got my weaver to level 50 and i have got all the best equip for him... but now i cant afford the materia.

So the question is what should i craft to make some gil? I have the other crafts all to level 15.

In the meantime i was leveling Botanist to make some gil coz DoL seems all profit.

You can make your own 45+ crafting gear and go spiritbind it by either spamming lots of HQ items or by killing mobs, then convert it for the materia you need. Profit will vary from server to server (and from time to time) so it's up to you to survey the items you can make and see which are profitable for you. In general, HQ materials tend to net decent amounts of gil (e.g. HQ Wool, HQ Felt, HQ Twinthread) but that requires you to be able to consistently HQ them.

As Lyrinn sais, prepared crafting materials (Threads & Cloth), especially the HQs, fetch a good amount of gil.
Items used in Levequests also make a good buck but usually take a bit longer to sell.

Items for class quests work too. For example, those HQ gear past Level 25 or so. Sometimes they require materials which you don't need more than 1 of, but people in the marketboards sell them by bulk, which leads to them just wanting 1, but not wanting to buy the entire stack, so they just buy the finished product off the marketboard and turn that in instead.

Sell hq, (80% of you retainer slot)
How long it takes to sell 20 items/transaction.
HQ vs normal quality price discrepancies. (If cheapest low quality is 56 gil you gonna have hard time selling hq at 12k.
in regards to this ^ Its supply and demand and invent space.
Adjust price regularly. Often is probably not enough right now. Theres no noob playing the market at the moment. maybe when PS4 merge.
Repair the stuff you can, your days of quick repairing from NPC are over if you wanna make gil. Repair at 5% not 95%.
Dont craft Velveteen using your level 50 gear, you wont spiritbind at all.
Consider leveling all craft, you will need a limited ammount materia then.

As a Builder of the Realm, and having several DoW/M to 50, if you want to make decent money, craft entire sets of gear you can, in your case, a full caster dps set from weaving, meld them twice with something cheap like Savage Might I's, then grind it out. Optimally, you want your gear to be between iLevel 47-50. Grind, convert, rinse, repeat. Net gains are pretty steady DoM materia: Quicktongue III, Heaven's Eye III, Int III, Mind III, Piety III, etc. Post on the MB, and just do that. The gains on the spiritbond are plenty with 2 materia affixed. I use this strat while i am in between ques for DF, or waiting on a PF group to complete. While materia prices have dropped, pretty much world-wide, it is a viable means of income generation. Esp as an ACN/SMN. you can efficiently grind north of Fallgourd Float like a boss!
