I don't know if anyone experienced this, but part of the quest involves speaking to the 'client'. I go to the map location and I don't see the NPC. I log out and log back in. Nothing. I see that there were couple of bug reports sent for this. I thought it was actually a bug.

But then, I started thinking, if it was a bug, then lot of BSM crafters would have brought this up and complained about it.

Anyways, it turns out the NPC is actually on the platform below you. It requires a bit more walking but damn, I felt stupid.

To avoid confusion, can the NPC location be moved or the mini-map be updated to reflect which floor you on?

I had the same problem today, wandering around trying to find the NPC. The quest text actually does say the NPC is below the Drowning Wench...but it is rather annoying to find since it's not obvious (from where the NPC should be) that there is a ramp going around the building, and if you go down to the Bulwark Hall, the map shows the NPC as being on the upper level, where you have just been.

I don't think this issue is about DOH, but more of a UI issue regarding the maps.
This issue is also occurring when exploring the Burning Wall of Eastern Thanalan.

I actually wasted more time trying to figure out how to get down there than finding the person. Joke/meme aside, if you zoom all the way out, you can see the quest icon right below you. But I agree, map needs to be updated to show different heights better. I ran into the same issue on Treasure Maps when the location was at the Burning Wall - X mark on a platform but the actual location was below.

that happened to me until I decided it was time to ask the FC.

I think its a problem for ppl spending more time in other cities, most ppl that spend their no-figthing-time in Lumisa know about the level below.
