nobody wants to MT

Usually tanks are eager to measure eachother's dick sizes and be MT, provoking mid fight and pissing other tanks off.....but last night they were all too nervous or something?

Also, another run, tank in full allagan...just walked around the whole dungeon. Apparently too entitled to actually participate....what the heck were they even doing there?

That is weird. There always seems to be at least two tanks that argue over who should MT. I usually don't offer to MT for two reasons. 1. Other tanks always want to, so I don't mind letting them. It's better than arguing over who gets to tank. 2. I get occasional lag spikes in CT, and don't want to risk a wipe because of it. Though I always go to a North tower to pick up KB if the MT drops. I really don't mind tanking anything, but I hate fighting over who does what. If no one wants MT, then I'll take it. If no one wants OT, then I'll do that.

Also, I have seen a tank in a lot of allagan, with the rest myth and extreme primal accessories just do nothing. During Bone Dragon, he literally did /sit in the middle. He was the only tank that didn't speak up to call a job for KB. When asked what he was doing, he said "Standing around. Waiting." A couple of back and forth comments, and then he ended up actually tanking giants. Like.. why be there? I really like doing CT, and I do whatever I need to do to help the alliance.

I'll add another one. Our dps was slow taking out adds during Atomos (we had a new BLM and a SMN). The other tank was just staying on Atomos, so I asked him to help, but he refused. I explained that adds weren't going down quick enough, so it'd help to have both tanks on adds. His response was "That's a dps problem, not a tank problem." Yes, dps was slow, but we're here for a win. Not every run is the same. Not every run will have ilvl90 dps. Sometimes you have to adapt. As I said before, I do whatever I can to help the alliance as a whole. This guy would rather wipe, and then blame the dps than to help with adds to make sure we win. Another group wiped before we did (we were going to), and we managed to talk him into helping with adds the next try, and we won with no problems. The rest of the run, he continued to belittle the BLM for being bad (the BLM didn't have the best dps, but it was mainly due to not being overgeared for the content like everyone is used to), and was really quite a jerk.

they want that god status....lol. I don't care what gear they are wearing. if they show up to do nothing...they should just leave. gear doesn't make you a hero.

Man, I thought I had some bad luck....

Some of these stories are downright ridiculous. I don't understand why anyone would FUBAR an entire run and waste 24 ppls time just for shits/giggles. I don't need the obligatory "people are a$$holes on the internet" speeches, I know they are. The worst I've ever had is JIP people trolling queues for 15-20 mins, or people having troll contests through /a. Which is actually more funny then anything else, lol.

Last week, I really wanted to get the Ballad Boots because it was the only gear-worn piece of mine that was still DL. Ran it once a day throughout the week and never saw it. So on Sunday, I did one last run at the end of the night to at least get something lotted out of the week. Every single drop was Need rolled by someone in my group and I got screwed out of a lot for the week....

Then my first run on Monday, Ballad Boots dropped and I was only BRD in party.
