You can progress without doing Titan HM. Go farm myth until you're full i90 (besides relic) and then go into Titan. I walked into Titan HM and dodged every single thing and said "wow this is it?"
Doesn't matter how leet you feel or think your skills are, if most of your team isn't and keeps getting killed, good luck soloing it down. (which i've actually seen someone do on ifrit.)
