Server transfer gil limit too low.

My friend wants to transfer to my server but he doesn't want to lose 15m gil. You can only take 3m with you when you transfer. Does anyone else thing this is way too low? Personally I have 11m I would lose a lot of I transferred myself not that I plan to.

With stuff like 300m house prices you can see how 3m is almost nothing.

The low transfer limit is a hindrance to people that want to transfer to a new server to play with their friends. FFXI had no limit on how much gil you could server transfer with so why does FFXIV?

Even though I don't see myself transfering again for a while I am going to agree with this statement.

Nope, not anymore. Heck some non-legacy servers' economy are much are worst than Legacy. *Cough* Tonberry *Cough*

You could always turn your cash into comodities you CAN take with you like high demand materia.

Resell it "Do your research before you leave obviously" and you should either make a minimal loss or in the best case a profit. With a large number like 10m It's not as easy but hey there are a few items you can get away selling for a few 100k such as penta melded Ilvl70 jewelry.

FFS people need to stop saying 3m. It's not 3m now, and it has never been 3m ever.

It's 1.2m now, and 5m back when we had free transfers. Never has there ever been a 3 million gil transfer period.

Well its simple y FFXIV has a limitation but FFXI didnt... becuz they dont want to fuk this game up like they did XI.... duh. I dont think there should b a limit at all going between or to another Legacy server though. But personally i think the limitations should match each economy like housing prices did. Simple really

Too bad they don't take a page from Blizzards big book o' knowledge and make the transfer limit scale to character level. Restrictions are good to combat RMT, but there aren't many high level RMT running around.

Oh, I suppose there's the economy to think about. Can't have people moving gil from one dead economy to another can we?

Heck some non-legacy servers' economy are much are worst than Legacy.

The entire 1 star market on Leviathan is dominated by someone that consistently undercuts themselves to sell items for 1k or less, even when they're the only seller 90% of the time.

If u are concerned about not being able to transfer all ur gil, then u are one of the reasons of having the gil transfer limit in the first place.
