A certain few achievements, that one in particular, were updated during the patch and their required numbers reduced (because they were ridiculous, such as requiring a thousand plus for that one particular achievement, when you can get one point at best per day)

When that happened, you did not auto-earn the achievements, you need to get one more point towards the achievement in order for it to update and give you all the previous ranks you acquired.
