    More PvP Please!

I read once Yoshi said he should have made his staff played World of Warcraft for a year before making some decisions in developing the game.

I can not understand why he didn't notice or why doesn't he admits that WoW rocks when it comes to pvp, players seeking and destroying each other, either in raiding towns or seeking others within zones.

PVP = Life support for any game, players need some sort of competition between each other. WoW is not the only example.

WE (Winning Eleven) which is known as PES (Pro Evolution Soccer) today, its not an online game back in the days but players would mostly play against each other, that game has been the bread and butter maker for Konami since 1995 every year they lunch one or 2 series of WE per year.

COD (Call of Duty) same thing, every once in a while there's a new one just because player love to PVP in it, some players even bought the game and played until they were through with it without even going through the story mode.

L2 (Lineage 2) had very little story to tell, a lot of bugs, lag, glitches, and exploits. Game Masters payed little attention to con artist, RMT and bots some Game Masters were Koreans that barely spoke English (Snap shots were taken and players LoLed about it on the forums). but the open pvp system and massive pvp events called Sieges kept the game going for a long time, but the draw back in their pvp it had the exp penalty for dying which can be harsh at certain lvls which made a lot of high level players avoid open PvP in most cases, the game was mostly grinding, and had a lot of issues but the siege pvp system kept it alive.

Sadly with the current pvp system players got to wait on DF, longest I ever waited was about 40 min.
and SE should consider studying more PvP options:

1- Duels like in WoW where it can take place anywhere ( player's hp can't go below 1 and whoever reaches 1 hp first loses)

2- open pvp zones (which is a must in my opinion) with no penalty from dying on the hands of another player. each zones should have it's level sync and rewards (more exp and high drop rate from mob and more gathering points). there should not be penalty for losing, instead PvP should be promote by also rewarding the players getting killed. Each kill a player achieves gains/adds a negative statues that slightly weakens the victor, this helps avoiding the zones being monopolized by groups or in worst case RMTs.

3- FC's Fighting for control, zones with castles, mines and farms. FC that controls the castles can share the rewards of the zone's farm and mines to other allying FC for free or rent them out to other FC, they can also profit from the tax income the castle make from that zone, more FC's working the land more tax to be collected, this encourages FC to make their farms and mines occupied by FC. Fighting over control will flavor the game with some politics and diplomacy.
