Bahamut Turn 5 need advice about conflag!

Do you have any trick to kill conflag in time?
I watched all the video and they seem easy so far, and my PT have high level DPS who could kill EX primal better than average PT, but then we always lose in T5 because conflag not die.

    1. Does MT also need to attack it?
    2. Does ST need to use sword oath?
    3. Does healer need to attack it? which healer is better? whm or sch ?
    4. Is there any trick for DPS? flare? save which skill for it?
    5. Does short conflag always spawn together with red bomb? sometimes we not see red bomb pop and also not enough time to kill it.

    Thank you.

idk but as healer i go cleric stance, and never seen them blow up after that. Believe its also every second conflag, which ever one is not resetted through fireball, assuming you go into conflag when you got red triangle. Also assuming you guys aernt stacking more then 4 people.

May have to also use potions/food, and save cds for every second conflag. and ye the short conflag is the one with the fireball, since that resets it. (the one where you have to go into conflag). But if you are referring to the one where fireball > conflag (immidiately, then thats the fast one and has to be killed really quickly

Just save burst DPS CD's for the fast ones and have OT in sword oath.

Save cd's for fast ones, rng can mess you up and conflag someone you really didnt want it too for the fast ones, like a summoner who had full aetherstacks, healers help pick up some of the loss in those cases

I can only give rotation advice for BLM, but make sure you have full mana and 3 astral fire at the start of every fast conflag, switch right away and go fire > fire > fire then use a fire 3 proc if you got it, if not swiftcast one. If that is still not enough then swiftcast a flare, flare has a long CD after it which is why if you can get away with not using it you should. Spare your Raging Strikes if no DPS has to go in, see who is going in exactly and make a judgment call based on the dps you will be missing. Time your rotation, when you see the fireball before fast conflag go straight into blizzard 3 then by the time conflag pops you should finish casting Fire 3 and be at the point in your rotation that you want to be.

Failing conflags is a DPS issue, and it's all about burst damage so parsing won't help. Get the DPS to say what exactly they're doing, notice which DPS go in and what the effect on burst damage is like without them to isolate those who aren't pulling weight.

We have the main tank walk into the conflag,so he takes no dmg from twin, and the 2 healers dps as well.

Also remember that the more ppl are in fireball, the quicker the conflag blows up.

We run with a smn and a sch so we stack the pets on the OT. anyone who gets fireball runs to the OT. if fireball lands on the OT he just eats it.

First, a quick snapshot of second-phase rotation (party perspective):
    Neurolink (start) > ||:Fireball > (Conflag+Fireball) > Fireball > Conflag:||

    ||:~:|| content here means it repeats in that order until phase change. Basically, every odd conflag will be accompanied by a fireball. Every even conflag will be solo.

Solo conflags are the dangerous ones. Here's why. Throwing a Fireball into a Conflag RESETS the countdown of explosion to the MAXIMUM amount of time (35s). So, you have the most amount of time to kill it when they happen together.

Your DPS should pop their cooldowns on every even Conflag. The fewer players hit by Fireball, the more time you will have to kill the Conflag.

    See formulas:
Fireball Damage Taken= ((Total Damage)/(# targets hit))
    whereas

Conflag explosion in __ secs = (35 - 5x), where x=# players hit by Fireball.

Chrono's strat is what we do. We have the tank walk into the odd conflags as well (once topped off... Twintania likes to Plummet Conflag victims when they emerge). As well we have 3 players + fairy eat fireballs. (2 players and fairy stay stacked, and fireball victim joins them. If it's one of the 2 permanent masochists, we have a designated person who joins them.)

Make sure your DDs have a plan for which CDs they're using for which fast (no fireball, 2nd and 4th for our grop) conflags. We have our main tank attacking conflags, OT is using sword oath, healers don't usually attack them. I feel it's a pretty tough DPS check even with very well geared group, at least if the group is using two tanks instead of one.
