Well technically, its not the ISP itself, but the pathway to the ff14 servers. Ive seen the hops owned by level3 drop packets quite frequently, unfortunately they lie outside the verizon network, so verizon wont/cant do anything about it

I normally don't have latency issues but tonight has been really bad. Been getting about 20% packet loss to a Level3 router in Montreal.
ae-10-10.car2.montreal2.level3.net 4.69.153.86
This is the culprit. I have Cox Communications 50MB/10MB cable internet in Phoenix, AZ.
I had to install WTFast to be able to play as I was getting 3-15s lag spikes in between abilities or complete disconnects from the servers altogether.

The simply matter comes down to this YOU SHOULD NOT HAVE TO PAY FOR 3rd PARTY SOFTWARE TO COREECT A SERVER ISSUE THAT SHOULD NOT BE THERE TO BEGIN WITH. I used battle ping and reduced my latency down to 10/ms found out I could doge everything perfectly with no delay, awesome peace of software, but it does require a monthly subscription to use it wish u should not have to use. Due to the fact if this game was built correctly to begin with you wouldn't have to use it. "YOU CANNOT CREATE A GAME BASED OFF OF POSITIONING IF THE POSITION SYSTEM DOES NOT WORK.
Lagging a lot recently, and my internet provider is good.
