Hi. I recently had to replace my ps3 and now my registration code is invalid because I used it on my original ps3. Anything I can do to get around this as it hardly seems fair needing to buy another new copy of the game.

The game itself is not registered against your PS3, but against your PSN account. As long as you have/can access your PSN account on your new PS3 then you shouldn't have to re-register anything. I've fully wiped my PS3 and upgraded the HDD to an SSD and haven't had to register anything.

OT: When you upgrade the HDD on PS3, does it migrate everything? My 120GB is maxed out so need bigger HDD but weren't sure if the migration operation will do a direct-copy migration.

If you do a data back-up to a storage device (like a USB HDD) then install the new internal HDD into your PS3, you can then do a back-up restore and everything will be exactly as you left it but with more storage space. I've done this on my consoles and even transfered the entire data from 1 PS3 to another via the data transfer utility (using ethernet cable between the consoles).
