Too many poor DPS

since this game has slower paced battles i get time to watch dps when I'm playing tank roles and I have found a lot of dps do strange enough things that I can't even really understand what they're thinking.

Like tanking a single mob that only does frontal cones for AoE the black mage would cast one spell then run around for 5-6s then another spell then reposition again then one more spell etc etc
and this is not just picking out an oddball, this happens a lot.

Whats weirder is the OffTank in Garuda refusing to take both sisters at once. "Oh nawww just let the DPS tank it next to the healers so its Downbursting the entire party and potentially wiping us if she lives long enough to Slipstream."

there's no way to evaluate your skill as a dps. people bemoan damage meters all the time, but they are an excellent tool to improve how you play.

All they made was make me depressed over how low my damage gets in Titan EM.

Now if only people could pick this up on Garuda EM so I only have to deal with Suparna, and not bother with Provoking the Spiny the moment it appears...

In CT I have noticed DPS are in a big hurry to kill the adds on the first boss but then ignore them on all bosses after. Another fave of mine... bards dying on titan HM/EX. Can't figure out what it is about movement heavy fights that makes the most mobile job in the game fail over and over but I find it funny to watch.

This, just lol, soooooooo many bad Bad BAD BRD in my titan runs (and a lot of them in normal dungeon who pop all their CD in trash pull before tank even makes a hit and get hit by boss' aoe all the day). Everytime I was like "wft? u r a BRD!!!! how could u even get hit??!!!!!"

Lololol. Being a BRD, I see a lot of BRDs doing the same thing too and it's freaking hilarious. I've even seen some other DPS popping all their cooldowns before a fight even begins LOL. To be honest, BRDs being the easiest class to play doesn't help the fact that there are a growing number of bad BRDs getting carried through stuff lol.

Thanks for that info Viridiana. I tend to watch video guides so I can see what's going on only problem is when people start deviating from any certain strategy the fight doesn't go as planned so you have to improvise (sometimes alot), doesn't mean what they are doing is completely wrong just that it's hard for everyone else to follow if they haven't seen that particular strategy
