After just one wipe, DF people rage... why?

Me, I fully expect wipes, no matter the composition of the group. While I don't mind them much, I do expect them.

Same, though it does get annoying when you're on the 10th or so try and still can't do it because people are lazy and either don't dodge or something :/ I had this one Titan hm, while helping out a fc member. Pretty much everyone except maybe two people had relic and almost/full af2, so I thought it'd be easy. Nope, the full af2 people were the ones who were sucking bad :/ Half of them were dying before heart, one even fell off during his jump or they'd run toward the bombs -.-

I'm sure someone will complain but I'll bring it up. I never had a problem at all with anyone rage quiting in XI. It seems to be all these new kids playing mmos now who want everything done now and perfectly done with no wipes.

from my experience those people who rage the most bout wipes to the point they rage-quit , often get replaced with new people and then suddenly everything works

I agree, I've seen this so any time's on King Behemoth for example, after a few wipes rager's leave get replaced, we down it first go lol

Either that or they are scared of the abuse that most people get in the game for not knowing content.

Yeah I don't understand either, yeah after 4-5 times when someone seems to be completely ignoring what you trying to tell them.

This brings me back when I fought Ifrit Story Mode for the first time, a bunch of newbies. The guy health kept reseting and we kept trying. Someone mentioned kill the heart first and we eventually got him down. I just thought we wasn't killing fast enough or I'm missing some move where I need to stun that's making his life restore again.

Fast forward to my 30's, hell maybe even 40's. An LS mate sent a chat some thing like "we wiping after the heart" So then I had a flash back to my fight with him and thinking to my self...I'm like reallyyy, we were wiping??? You call that a WIPE? Wow that's love. So you telling me(still talking to my self) that we get to start right back up? Without even leaving? Same spot? Hell I can do this all day.

Other games, I'm used to running allll the way back and/or run through the entire dungeon again before we even attempt the fight. People need to chill out. Far as why they do it, maybe they never did what I had to do and many others, that and just plain selfish.

people will do crazy things when it comes to wipes.

Remember when 2.1 was only 1 or 2 days old and people were rage quiting after only 1 wipe over a 1 or 2 old new content.

I think it has to do with people who leave, or rage quit, at ones who get carried through content usually by FC/others. When they join a run, and are not getting carried by others, they get made and quit immediately.

It's pretty stupid if you ask me. If you try to get into a difficult fight with the duty finder, let's say Titan HM for example, one (or more likely multiple) wipes are to be expected. At that point if you rage after a wipe, it's like ordering sushi and then raising hell with the waiter for bringing you raw fish.

Well the perfectly honest, not everyone has time to stick around to watch a full party wipe over and over again.

Not saying it' s a bad thing to have tons of time to play, God knows I'd love nothing more than to play 8 to 12 hours a day. However, currently that's not in the cards for me and not real world for alot of players.

That being said, I often spend a lot of my valuable gaming time in que or looking for party (ilvl 82 Whm) and not actually playing.《Biggest gripe w game》. When I finally get into a group and there' s a player who obviously has not tried to get better at said fight (continuing to struggle with same things) or may be new to a fight I start counting down the minutes until I've had enough and subsequently leave party.

TLDR: Ain't nobody got time for that...

Stupid people do stupid things. There's not much you can do about it other then laugh to yourself at how pathetic some people can be.

I mean the ones who do it regularly and/or rage with insults at one or more persons. I'm sure many of us have at least once rage quit (hopefully without an insult thrown out) on a bad day.
