Can I use 3rd Party Gamepad for this game

Can I use 3rd Party Gamepad for this game so I can put keyboard actions on my controler gamepad. Example: (Xbox button)---> (F1 key)=Second Wind

I use mix on mouse & gamepad UI and would like the option to set gamepad buttons to the mouse UI buttons. That way I have more actions on my gamepad without having to change to another menu in mid combat.

Want to try using Emulator gamepad for like playing SNES games on pc but for xiv.

Will I be banded for using something like that?

Considering there is no first party controller, all controllers are third party.

I think you're a little restricted on what exactly you can set to PS/XBox controllers as far as mapping them to keyboard keys, but I'm not 100%...

I'd be a little more interested in knowing if the XBox Chatpad or the PS Keypad can be mapped like the normal keyboard on PC.

I use an Wireless Xbox controller. you will need an xbox wireless pc adapter though to do so. Amazon and Newegg i know both sell them. Microsoft used to sell them but stoped for some reason so its 3rd parties that sell the adapter now.
