New Dungeon type ~ "Discipline of the hand/field" Inclusions

Sorry if this is a repeat thread. I'd like to see an inclusion of Discipline of the hand/field in special dungeons. I'd like to say that I'm currently not a level 50 in either of those but in general these "jobs" only rely on leve's to level and gain funds.

I know, some of the repeatable quest are lucrative both exp/gil-wise, but I'd like to see them contribute to more "operations" quests.

Quick Ideas Miners(break barricades/rocks), Gatherers(herbs, etc to prevent status afflictiosn...think aurume vale), fishers(pet npc quest), Crafter(device repairs).

The other "fighting" class can help "protect" these jobs while they accomplish their tasks with shared experience/gill rewards...to include pink/green crafting/field wear.

I always thought it would be nice to have a dungeon that's essentially trying to get through walls. A miner or 2 sit and mine at a wall while the combat classes fend off waves of monsters coming in. After they get through the wall they have to deal with a boss while the DoH build barriers for the waves of monsters that are still coming. The DoH can be creating barriers already. When they got inside the Miners can get through the next wall.

However, each dungeon would have to be tailored to each individual class (mine would be mostly miner). If they don't do this and make dungeons every DoH and DoL can do they'll be very bland and boring.

    It's a nice idea, though.

Here's a link to a bunch of rotation and DPS numbers I wrote up to try help BLM see they aren't as weak as they might think.

It's a great idea concept that needs to be expanded on somewhat. What does the gather / crafter do once their job isn't needed to break the wall or device. Xp doesn't get awarded to these jobs when a mob dies either so that would need changed. Each dungeon would need the generic "all doh preform this task" and "all dol performs this other task", otherwise your going end up with a lot of work on SEs part to make each craft or gather its individual role...that won't happen.

So what could all doh do in a dungeon? Sure a bsm can fix a device, but I'm not sure a weaver or culinary could. What would a fisherman or bot do that a miner can? Bot an min can clear paths...but only certain types respectively.

Well, for these particular dungeons I envision an adaptable "win" situation. So each job could have a "something" they can do in the Same dungeon for example...

Imagine a room with horde mode scenerio. Various approaches could be used to clear same dungeon. Maybe, include NPC for 4 player dungeon or have specific roles.

Carpenter could build "barricades" or a botantist could gather a "sleep" herb that you can use on a fire to release gas.
Alchemist could automatically gain items from mob kills to craft "potions of x" to throw at mobs or nullify poisons.
Blacksmitch to repair device or create arrow/bullets for canons.
Fishers could feed npc creatures that cause terror to mobs or other event.

If your familiar with Starwar:the Old republic they have scattereed shortcuts and buffs to regular dungeons similar to what I have in mind.

If these dungeons happen, maybe they can be only parties of 8. 4 melee classes and 4 land/craft jobs.
