I was taught to use targeted healing macros and it has made things soooo much easier!
    /micon "Cure" (or Physick)
    /ac "Cure" <1>

Make one for each party member (<1>-<4>) and set these to one of your crossbars along with other spells you use often in dungeons. You can stay targeted on the enemy and still heal your party.

While this is indeed "fastest" and most direct approach it becomes a bit cluttered later on with 8 pl parties especially when you need to use combinations of the various heals / cures / (de-)bufs as just 8 basic heals would take one whole (half L2 or R2) or one cross bar. Considering the casting times and anymations it's not a problem to select targer using F1 - F8, cast the relevant spell and while still in animation select already another target using again F1 - F8 keys to be ready for the next spell once the current cast completes. Those minimum 2.5 seconds of GCD gives a plenty of time to do that with ease. Sayning that - I do indeed have one extra bar full of heal / buff spells for 4 pl. parties so when I participate in lower level dungeons I can play it with minumum interaction with the keyboard (basically only for chat).
