    Help needed with controls (PS3)

    Hey everyone
I am looking for some help, been playing since a week i think ( time flies )
My problem is, i am trying to level up the conjurer abit to get the unicorn, but something is making it very difficult for me.
Have problems with switching between characters in battles, it seems only to work between enemey characters. It's pretty much impossible for me to select other players and heal them eventually.
Am i missing some important setting or is it an bug?

Sorry if i posted in a wrong section.
    Hope someone can help me

Press up and down on the D-pad. That defaults to party members.

If you are trying to heal out-of-party players in FATEs, go to your character config options and look in the "Filters" tab. There is an auto-filter that makes it so you only target enemies/npcs while your weapon is out that is preventing you from targeting players. Just mess around with the options in there until you find something that suits you.

Keep in mind, even if you do enable the manual filters, the auto-filter will override them when you pull out your weapon and put it away so you will have to disable the auto if you want full control.

Thank you both very much for the help
Up and down on the d-pad worked after the character configuration.
Just need to get used to this now^^

I prefer using keyboard for selecting party members: F1 - F8 will quick select the members - this is very usefull if you play with controller in toggle hold / mixed mode where your crossbar is constantly up so it would be much more cumbersome to switch between players using up / down ...

Also, for getting to priority targets faster, you can open up the Party list, highlight a name, and then select the up/down arrow on the bottom-left corner of that window to re-order the party list. This way you can tab up and down quicker between names.

I usually go Tank > Melee DPS > Ranged DPS, and if I have two of each, I switch orders between whoever takes the most damage on trash pulls.

You're "funny" ... you know that there is many people playing on PC with controllers (including PS3 and Xbox ones), right? Independent of that (and fact that OP actually plays on PS3) - I saw many players performing better on PS3 (or with controller on PC) than some players on PC with KB + mouse.

As healer I sort the parties as below

    1. Healer (me)
    2. Healer (other)
    3. Tank ("stronger")
    4. Tank ("weaker" - easier and faster to select / find by touch F4 than F3)
    5. Bard (if present - again easier and faster to select / find by touch F5)
    6. - 8. Remaining DPS (prioritizing Bards)

I don't really bother much resorting the list in 4pl parties but if I do I place tank on 4. position - again for "easier" selection on standard keyboard.

I was taught to use targeted healing macros and it has made things soooo much easier!
    /micon "Cure" (or Physick)
    /ac "Cure" <1>

Make one for each party member (<1>-<4>) and set these to one of your crossbars along with other spells you use often in dungeons. You can stay targeted on the enemy and still heal your party.
