Just in case you haven't realized it yet, your personal thoughts are not important.
A friend of mine requested to use his one time return option for a fantasia as well. Personally, I think it's dumb to use it for that but w/e. Their decision.
Either way, he requested it just as the holidays had begun. It took forever for him to get it as a result. Sure, he got plenty of emails and the like but it still took a while for him to get the actual potion.
If you submitted your ticket before/during the holidays it could be a similar thing.
That and, SE customer support is legendary for being kinda pretty bad.
Furthermore, if you're willing to undo all of your progress on your character because you're not getting your Fantasia when you want it- you have bigger issues than the fantasia being late.
Either way, calm down. Drink some tea, take a few deep breaths. It will be ok. You'll get your fantasia and things will be normal.
You're making yourself way more stressed out than SE's customer support.
So you accidentally drank your potion, accidentally logged out, accidentally clicked the edit icon, accidentally created your new appearance, accidentally clicked save, and accidentally logged back in? Holy crap! SE fix this! This is exactly what happened to me!

I think what you all are missing here is what was said to the OP.
A bit of a run around then a GM directly coming on and saying 'yeah you'll get it in the mog mail' then nothing?
The point is, someone in Square said 'yes go tell that player we will give them their fantasia potion' but never ever delivered on the 'promise'. Thing is, you can't really back that up (as I have seen posts with screenshots of GMs SAYING things and nothing has been done at all for months .. ) like they have no idea what each department does or soemthing.

Now, deleting your char and starting from scratch IS a bit extreme. But if the OP is willing to do that instead of waiting for another official response, it's their right.
