Your responsibility in Duty Finder

Whew, I need to vent on this one.

Joined a Duty Finder for Titan Extreme just now, and one of the members insisted that he learned better by practice, and actually refused to go watch videos on Youtube. That'd be fine if he were exceptionally talented, which didn't seem to be the case. After being told what to expect throughout the fight, the dude just dropped like a fly every try.

Except it in DF. If you want a video'd/experienced group use PF or FC/LS.

His or her responsibility was to do whatever role they queued as. There is no rule, law or anything of the sort that says you must watch how other people have done the fight before you try it yourself. What if YouTube was down for extended maintenance, would you simply not run? Sounds silly, right?

As many will say, do not go into duty finder if you have expectations. That's what pre-made teams are for.

I understand completely, and can assure you that dying before heart phase did not fulfill any role =p

People join the Titan Ex fight via DF to practice, before joining a decent/premade team.

If your expecting to kill using the DF, then your likely wasting your own time, to be honest.

I'll generally want to experience stuff first hand without vids. If that doesn't work then I'll watch a vid.

I did the same for all fights in the game as I did for coil stuff.
