So you're new to the game, you've been playing games all your life and you can't wait to pop in ff online, get into some epic quests, fight big bad signature monsters from the series and have an awesome experience doing it. But wait, as a newcomer you're constantly told you should know the content before actually running it. Now you're thinking WTTTTF?? At least I am. Since when do players need video youtube strategy guides to go through a dungeon or defeat a boss or else other players leave or call you names?

Man, back in the day when we played Mario on the nes or something I don't remember us watching videos of when the next hole in the ground or monster will freaking pop up. People had a blast increasing their skills to beat hard games. Why ruin the surprise of the video game by having so many pro wannabes say we have to know content or discourage people who haven't run a dungeon. That's the whole point of a game, to have fun on the first runs! Not to watch someone else on youtube have a fun time explaining it.

Only advise I have for someone getting griped to the ground by a raging person who needs his leet loot more than anything in life, who hates that you're new to the dungeon is to shrug it off and keep going in the party and hope he rage quits all by himself. Don't let it get you down, and don't feel like you need to watch anything before playing it first hand, unless you choose to.
Party Finder is great in that aspect. You can now easily look for those who like your style while others (like me) can also specify things like "make sure you know all the phases and positions for this fight". For me at least, doing something like Turn 4 your way, using party finder, would be a total waste of time. It would take you weeks, if you are lucky, to complete it. Only way would be if a static started from scratch, but you are talking in a general sense, not a static group.

Let's say you just got to Titan Extreme today (Saturday). You spend 4 hours Duty Findering it to get the basics and let's also assume that you went past the heart and saw a bit of what happens after that. Tomorrow you log in for for another three hours and are now ready to do some of those Party Finder groups that don't have harsh requirements to enter. You learned a bit more today. Tuesday, you feel confident from the previous attempts and join the high ilvl, "must have experience past heart" parties. After about an hour of wipes, you finally make it and pass it. You now realize that unless people have the lot of practice and experience these fights require, it's not going to happen. You are sure as hell not going to be OK if after spending half of the week getting to know this fight you get a party composition of people who are doing it for the first time and didn't read or study the fight because it kills the excitement.

If you are going to do something for the first time and don't want to read up on it because it kills that sense of adventuring to you, it's completely understandable. Make a party for it and find like-minded people. The Party Finders asking for experienced players in those fights are there for a reason as valid as yours.
