Watching content before actually doing it?

I normally tank in MMO's and since a lot of encounters rely on the tank knowing what they are doing it's become habit to watch a guide before attempting content. I don't think it's fair on the rest of the group to go into content not knowing what I'm doing since it's likely going to result in repeat wipes and frustration for everyone involved. In the end it's all about team work and if you can't be bothered finding out how to do your part then you're not exactly a team player.

Don't be surprised if people start to get irritated with you when they're doing their part and you're not.
