Just saying, I'm sure they do Maintenance at the best time they possibly can.
These people are just like us, they have lives of their own and are physically there
at work when they take our servers down. So not sure what time it is there for them whatever time zone is handling it but,

Right about now would be a great time for future Maintenance. Its always dead around these hours.

Not everyone has a 9am to 5pm, Monday to Friday, job these days. Plus there's many countries that use specific realms. Realms operate with people 24/7. Besides it's a Japanese company so they'll operate in Japanese office hours.

You forgot 1 little thing.... Most of the time its ALL World maint. Do you know what time it in Japan/AUS/Asia is now ?

The NA/EU servers are in Quebec, I'm surprised you didn't know that, and they're not hosted by SE.

However, since all development staff are in Japan then any time maintenance involves changes to software then it's highly likely it'll be done when Japan is at work; Japan is 14 hours ahead of EST, FYI.
