If each TP class (PGL/LNC/GLD/MRD/Archer) had skills that consume large amounts of TP for big effects/damage while executing combos
replenishes additional TP (10tp per successful combo skill) then TP might feel more important.

    Example Pugilist:
Holy Fist: Delivers an attack with a potency of 250
    Additional Effect: Heavy
    TP Cost: 300
    Recast: 30s

Death Blow: Delivers an attack with a potency of 100
    Combo Action: Touch of Death
Combo Bonus: Consumes Touch of death DoT effect and deals 8 potency for every second remaining on Touch of death. (Max: 240 potency)
    TP Cost: 450
    Recast: 30s

    Example: Archer
Haymaker Arrow: Delivers an attack with a potency of 600
Cast time: 5s (Moving will reduce potency based on how long the ability was channeled)
    TP Cost: 600
    Recast: 30s

    Example: Lancer
Visceral Thrust: Delivers an attack with a potency of 100
    Combo Action: Vorpal Thrust
Combo Bonus: Delivers an attack with a potency of 400
    TP Cost: 500
    Recast: 30s

p.s. Bloodletter could restore TP for Archers since they don't have combo skills.

Exactly, this is the kind of stuff I'm talking about. Ebb and Flow. Right now it's just.....there. The only time it matters in gameplay is in a negative way. The problem starts with them not putting enough ways to GAIN TP. Therefore, they couldn't have you lose TP very often because you would never get to play. So pretty much we're stuck with a ticking time-bomb that pops his head up during overly long fights so it can say "NO SKILLS FOR YOU." The only way to combat that is to spend TP at a slow rate at the beginning of the fight. So imagine turn 5 and your tank isn't generating aggro, when you question them they say "I'm reserving my TP!" how would you feel?

Just wanna point out that TP is far more complex than you think, this is not to say that you are clueless in any way, the way the majority of people look at TP right now is wrong. First of all, if it is TP issues as a PLD or even a WAR then you are doing something wrong. You need to read up what skills gives you the highest amount of enmity with the lowest cost, basically, get the most aggro out of your skills. Now that alone makes TP enhance your gameplay. If you are talking about DPS classes using TP, then that is where I say you clearly have not been theorycrafting or investing time in how TP works (which is obviously do not expect you to do, like I said this is a major issue for many people). I can't really say more apart from the fact that TP definetly enhances my gameplay. I'am playing a BRD and I used to run out of TP really fast at certain point of fights and I had to sit down and read up and understand how TP actually works. Basically my point is, TP regen does exist, even to the point where you regain it way faster as melee and ranged dps, for tanking you just need to learn what skills gives u the most enmity with the lowest amount of TP and improve ur gameplay and that way you will never have TP issues as a tank. Once you notice and see it urself you will have an "ahaa" moment. Goodluck though.
