(1)Problem: Lost Guild Leader rank while changing offline member ranks.

(2)What Happened: While reorganizing offline members within my FC "Garlond Engineers" on Hyperion server I appeared to have a lag spike. During that spike I was trying to change an offline member to "Offline 15 days" rank, however instead it somehow gave my "Guild Leader" rank to him "Cao Cao" the offline member. The rank I wanted to change him to was highlighted as the "Offline 15 days" rank, but it gave him my rank somehow...

(3)Solution?: So far I have no solution except to remake a new FC. I have tried calling Square Enix's support team; they said to contact a GM. I have tried contacting a GM; they say it doesn't fall under their jurisdiction. I have tried to search/contact "Cao Cao" but so far no luck, and I don't know if he is coming back to the game. He's the only member I don't have contact information. I am now trying these forums on technical support.

*Please Note*: This is the 2nd time this has happened, but it was with an active member in the FC.

(4)Other: If I were to make suggestions regarding the FC Rank system I would highly recommend this:

1. When a Guild Leader appoints a new guild leader... both persons MUST be online.
2. When changing a persons rank to any rank (including guild leader) there should be a check box confirmation (like when you toss rare/ex gear) to verify the change is correct. Plus, a double, check box confirmation for when a guild leader appoints a new guild leader (that is currently online).


(5)Etc: My hope is that someone can fix this issue in the Tech Support forums or know who can fix it.
****Also**** If anyone reading this knows the character "Cao Cao" on the Hyperion server to please reach me "Mythre Leger" via. ingame mail etc... and ask Cao Cao to log in so this can be easily fixed... or just respond to this post.
