Hardware Specs for SE demo machine

I was hoping to get a response from a developer about releasing the hardware specs for the PC that was used to show demo videos of the game?

I know these PC's are designed to work best with FFXIV for marketing reasons. And I think the community would love to know for a baseline for performance what this PC's hardware specs are!

I can understand the reasoning for keeping this a secret at launch, however now it would be very informational for the community to know these specs. or even recommended settings to use for these demo videos.

Maybe so that the OS and other applications like antivirus, and whatever else people have running, does not hinder the game in relation to memory usage.

ah well, I knew about the minimum and Recommended settings. However the recommended in game settings are new.

My intent was to get a baseline for what the developer uses to demo the game. This machine has to be optimized and configured to display the best the game can be. Therefore, it would give us a goal to upgrade our machines to, match or surpass.

My main query is if my processor isn't powerful enough. It runs smoothly till alot of things are going on at once.

As for keeping it a secret, it would be for marketing reasons so they wouldn't scare away ppl interested in the game because they are rather high. Seems kinda silly now when the game runs poorly and no real way to turn down the graphics to get higher framerates.

There is something wrong if in towns I can turn the settings to the lowest settings and still only get 10fps in all the Adventurer guilds? WTF? seriously! I can't even see my character because it's so pixelated and yet it preforms the same. No wonder ppl think this game terrible when the very first place they start out in makes the game run like crap :P Beautiful, but it stutters and is hardly enjoyable :P

Your hardware doesn't really matter right now. The game is terribly optimized.

I have read the link, and see nothing special about memory related errors there.

If they did not cap it at 1.8 GB the game would crash, as it is limited by not being large address aware.
