tank casting stoneskin while tanking

Just quick question, wonder if anyone's tested it.

Can a WHM stoneskin overwrite PLD stoneskin?

I also wonder if any WHMs would feel the PLD is interfering because now it's hard to keep track if that stoneskin is a measly 10% or is it a powerful 18% one.

Whichever stoneskin has more HP in it takes priority.

By default, this means that WHM's 18% HP stoneskin takes priority. However, if you've taken enough damage to reduce the remaining HP of that stoneskin to <10%, then ANY untraited stoneskin is able to overwrite it.

A PLD's stoneskins will not interfere with the WHM's job, but it's generally very redundant to have both the PLD and the WHM casting stoneskin (on a single target, anyway).

Another thing to consider when using stoneskin is Rage of Halone's debuff; make sure it doesn't fall off. It sounds obvious, but if you're juggling multiple stoneskin casts and Fast Blade > Riot Blade combos to recover the MP deficit, it can slip your mind.

Ifrit dashes = Cast stoneskin
Tonberry king rancor = Guess what?


So on and so forth, if you can afford to cast it, cast it. it can and will save your life.

Sometimes I will stoneskin entire group while Main Tanking . If they gave us the ability to quick cast would be awesome for combat rez as well tho
