Is iLvl 90 PvE gear viable in PvP?

Want to get into PvP, but do not want to waste gil on it. I do not ask if it is better than iLvl 90 PvP gear, that is pretty obvious, but is it viable at all like in that I can play PvP and not feeling like a complete gimp in my iLvl 90 PvE gear?

Your offensive power would be good but your defensive power won't be great. Best to mix 90 pve with 70 pvp till 90 pvp gear. You'll be really squishy with full 90 pve.

Queue 30s or 40s, PVE gears are great there, youll be able to cap out the maximum stats for each level bracket, Morale doesnt apply there (and other resistances found in the resistance tab i believe, )

i90 PvP gear > i70 PvP gear > i90 PvE gear > i55 PvP gear > naked power > i70 PvE gear

Just use your PvE gear (though as a BLM that's probably gonna make you hate yourself) until you get the 70 set, then work on the 90 set.

(The crafted set is actually real cheap so the not spending money thing is kinda silly, but oh well)

Crafted Caster HQ Wolf armor has too much Acc to make it even close to attractive compared to Ilvl 90 AF2. Start by replacing your AF2 with Ilvl 70 PvP gear which has AF2 pieces that has ACC.
