See, that's what makes no sense - If it hurts no one to implement then it also hurts no one if it's not implemented.

Did you type that with a straight face? xD It clearly does hurt to not implement it, as there are people here and in other threads who have explained how their chat experience would be much improved with such a feature. Just because chat is still technically functional without it does not mean that the system can't be vastly improved.

You paid/pay for a product, yes, but that does not automatically give you the right to demand that the game be developed in any one way or another. You got what you paid for (basically the main storyline and basic dungeons, crafting and gathering, followed by updates on a semi regular basis as SE decides), a game that was designed by Yoshi&co, and if they make design decisions that you personally don't agree with then so be it.

This is the mindset of a consumer who will never get the best that they could from a product. It's a bad mindset in a capitalist society. Entitlement is not actually a bad thing from a consumer standpoint.
