/thread here, ladies and gentleman.That's like saying helmets are clutter and they should never show up the same way belts don't. Yet we have a toggle to show/hide head items. Do you really think a flat chat bubble with text is taking more memory space than a fully modeled helmet with textures, alpha channels and light bouncing and reflecting on it? Not to mention the shadows? None of that would affect a chat bubble. And, once ducking again, they are in game already.
And I want people to point me out in which MMO that has chat bubbles is known for their screens to be cluttered with chat boxes, or where chat boxes are a problem during raids. Or show me MMOs that had chat bubbles and had to take them out. I'll tell you which ones did that: none. You are thinking that not having chat bubbles is a solution to a problem that doesn't exist.
