Say Chat (Text Bubble)

I have an idea for say chat, Could in the future make it ingame were when we talk via say chat a bubble pops above our heads when we talk, I like this idea because when someone is talking to you, You can read the chat above his or her head like in some other mmos. Just an idea is all

Also when I was in coil I asked them where should I stand for this part, The tank said over here with me. At that point I didn't know off hand and got used to another game were I would be able to look in the dungeon and see oh its that guy over there (party chat bubble) I had to look on the party list to see where he was, Now this is not a bad thing but it can help when things are going fast or you are focusing on the dungeon or so.

Memory limitations, not happening. This was suggested back in beta and that was the response.

PS3 could live without this, though, it's not like this couldn't be made an option for PC and PS4, but nope.

As others have said, memory limitations was the deployed excuse. Which is.. bizarre, to my mind, given the PC and PS3 clients are distinct from one another.

Now if they'd said they don't want to provide that option for one group and not the other..

Honestly I don't see how that'd .. bah I don't know. Still the lack of 'chat bubbles' for at least /say is a miserable flaw in the game, for me. Makes the world seem so much less alive and I'd give up a lot to see it implemented, for my part.

It's not the memory limitations, it's just not a priority feature to add - It works for NPCs because they're static entities, but thousands of people with text bubbles everywhere is just unnecessary strain in the long run.

The PS3 can handle it actually, it's just they want to allocate as much resources to important features as possible, even the PS4 version won't have it and it's not because of memory limitations (they say it as an "easy" way to understand.)

I hate when MMOs don't have chat bubbles . I'm way less likely to notice people saying something without them, as I only glance at the chat window once in awhile.

I've played other MMOs that feture chat bubbles and others that don't. I've come to prefer the bubble free chat. Again, it's just my opinion...but chat bubbles cheapens the style/setting to a cartoon or comic.
