Like sometimes I am in town and someone says in say chat, Hey soul. I can see a lot of players but I have to look at each character or the names to see which person is talking to me. Its not the end of the world though it would be nice to have for say chat since it shouldn't in no means take a strain on the server.

P.S. One thing I like about this game is the lip sync characters can do while you chat (can be turned on or off) Also when we look at another player our head moves. Now that is cool and others can see this.

This is about as bad as chat spam gets, in my experience:

Funny, Yoshi-P seems dead set on making the game as much like WoW as possible, but the one feature I'd LIKE him to bring over...he doesn't.

I don't know if it's my computer performance causing it, but every time I go into one of the markets during peak hours and there are dozens of characters loitering about, my computer starts to slow a bit. However, if I hold down X to remove names until I'm through the area there is little to no slowdown. If there were dozens of text bubbles on top of that, visiting the markets would be a nightmare.

You can hide names wouldn't need to press X key, and can even hide the flying text during battles, so i would think it would be possible to hide chat bubbles too if ever added.

We need a setting to auto use Aetheryte Tickets ~ An amount set by the players like set to 500 Gil if a teleport cost over that amount it will auto-use a ticket!

I agree with this thread. I keep missing messages from my friends because I am too busy looking on the main screen.

This statement makes no sense. text bubbles go away after a few seconds, but stay in your log more or less forever.

How does it make no sense? I am more likely to see a speech bubble in the middle of my screen rather than a line of text in the corner of my screen.

Not when it stays up for 3 seconds and you're focus on the fight.

I hate speech bubbles, they get in the way and they're especially annoying when people are saying stupid stuff while you're doing something important.

I don't mind them and would see them and if I see there's a speech bubble, I know to look in the corner of my screen as there is a message to read if I miss it. Rather than keep looking at the corner of the screen now and again and miss a message when I am not looking at it.

You're entitled to hate them. Hate to your heart's content. I still say what I posted makes sense

If it makes everyone happy, they can have it so you can switch them off and on.
