That has nothing to do with the thread and SE has addressed that issue by stating that they will look into increasing what gear that can be stored in the armoire.

"What is this? You must forgive me, but I was not expecting company. As you can see, we are somewhat preoccupied right now, but no matter. As I am a gracious host, I will tend to you... Personally." ~ Nexus-Prince Shaffar.

Are you aware that you use other ppl for you? If everyone would do it there would be no party. But no word will help here, i know... ignorant ppl like that just wont listen. At least not until they learn something in life from aging...

It does have something to do with the thread. It is more than just so-called "crybabies." If there was ZERO abuse (I dunno how someone can abuse not being able to put something in armoire) then SE would have changed the In Progress window about as fast as they will release new seasonal/event gear that can immediately be put in the armoire instead of always a few patches later. SE saw that there was valid abuse going on. If they intended for it to be used like that, they would have kept it the way it was.
People wanting to put stuff in armoire as soon as the stuff gets put in game. No abuse going on. No fix yet in game. People want a stop to the constant withdrawns, SE sees the abuse that goes on, SE changes it. That was my point, having something to do with this thread.
MANTASTIC: I got 1017 problems, but playing FFXIV ain't one.
Llyren: Lala Tanks hit point density levels attract small planets
on a related note... I hope people who're fishing for main story roulette realize that there're practically no reason for anyone to abandon a main story quest mid-run. and it doesn't take long. stop wasting your time and ours. It's not an argument of whether it's intended or not for me. it's more stupidity and inefficiency

This is why doing that should incur at least a 30 min suspension of being able to use it .. do it again get an hour's block.
Go in queue, means you want do a duty.
Accepting only ending duties, means you are using other players at your own sake.
A penalty of one hour to anyone refuses to enter a duty, is quite sufficient. If you don't accept because busy on other things, do your other things and requeue one hour later. You know there will be one hour penalty, you will think twice before queue. Problem solved.
So today i did my low level random Duty finder it only took 4 goes thats right 4 times i had to Que as BLM.
The first tank left because in the first boss fight the healer did not use sprint to kite adds it was the first go on the boss just after we wiped he left.
The second left just at the start of the instance we had all just got to the point where we could talk to each other and we get "sorry g2g"
The 3rd one left in the middle of the instance just before the 2nd boss.
Now I would love to see a deserter debuff put on them with a time limit BUT what about the people like me that got stuck in the instance in every case we had to leave and reque would we get a debuff too I mean i did wait for a while on the 3rd time to see if a tank would appear but the chances of getting a tank are low lets be honest.
Clearly, you're not a dps. Even checking the "join in progress" button I'm still stuck in df for 20 mins or more waiting, then I have at least five minutes of people like you dropping out of the que because they only have to wait a minute or two to find another party. I'm in full support for a ban timer for drop outs. It already takes too long for dps to get into a lot of dungeons and people like you are a big part of that reason.
Dividing the spoils between each boss evenly would have as many negatives as it would positives. You wouldn't have as many people looking to fill groups, only those who need specific loot from specific bosses, but that would also mean more people would be queing for a fresh run, which in turn would make it take longer for dps who need early loot to find a party for the fact that there are only so many of each instance that can be open at a time and the line for parties trying to start in common places like CT would only grow in size. Putting a ban timer on people dropping and requing over and over would solve this problem without such negatives.
I play both healer and dps, btw, so I know from first hand experience how large the wait timer gap is between dps and healers. People looking to argue my point can skip that part of their argument. As for the "play with friends" comments, that's great if you're one of those guys in an fc of 300 or so people when you always have someone online to play with, or spend your days at home in your mom's basement gaming with friends, but a lot of people don't have friends who are online at all hours. Often times when I want to play over lunch or something, I don't have anyone to play with because most of my fc/friends/ls are in school, at work, or offline for other reasons.
This thread isn't about people leaving the roster while inside the dungeon, it's about people dropping out of the roster while the df is doing its readiness check. You would not be affected by this suggestion at all since you would already be inside the dungeon in this scenario.
