Look at it thi way: a player joining a queue and subsequently withdrawing is equivalent to that player never having joined the queue in the first place. By extension, 20 minutes of repeated withdraws is equivalent to staring at the Duty Status window showing 5/6 tanks for 20 minutes. The progress vultures aren't actively impeding your abililty to form a group, since the spot they would be filling is empty anyway; the only thing they're changing is your perception of the process.

No no no.... 10 minutes of PLAIN waiting is not equivalent to [10 sec crafting + 5 sec abandon craft and change to dps job + 10 sec waiting for party member to comfirm + 3 sec change back to crafting class]x20 times.
Do you really understand how annoying and unhumanize is that? Please look it as this way.

Okay, if you start a long craft while you're expecting DF to ding, that's entirely on you. Otherwise, just finish out the craft. If nobody's cancelled, you can still get to the confirm button on time, and if someone has then you're no worse off. Again, the only thing changing here is your perception of it. Just mellow out a little and it's all cool.
