Any plans for the Cait Sith Doll to be available through other means?

I know it's a bit late for this but I was curious if there were any plans to make this available again. I already owned the game at the time so I had no reason to pre-order another copy.

Probably not. And technically, you didn't need to preoder one - my local EB Games store was virtually giving the vouchers away by the end - all you had to do was ask. And yes I preordered the game even though I was a 1.0 player and I was allowed to download it for free - I wanted to support ARR (plus I wanted all the goodies in the Collector's Edition, such as the soundtrack CD and artbook ).

So yeah, sadly I don't think SE will be bringing that offer back, like other short-term bonuses that have long since ended and are never returning, like the Hermes Shoes, the Asuran Armlets, Gobbuue Horns and the Legacy Campaign.

I was a 1.0 CE owner so I got all the 2.0 CE items. I also had already pre-ordered a copy for my brother so I couldn't afford to pay for yet another one on top of it. I think a pre-order bonus is a bit different too. Plenty of games have made pre-order bonuses only time exclusive content. I've even seen games that have made their collector's edition content available down the road for a price. Not that I'm asking for a cash shop here, I'm not. Please don't take it that way.

I guess the root of my problem here is that I wish I could obtain this again for the sake of completion. I wish I could obtain everything, even through hard work, because it bothers me extremely to know that I can never obtain everything and have completed everything no matter what I do. I just want to do and have everything in the game. Even if it means having to work myself to death for it. Okay, not to death, but you know what I mean!

For the CE bonus items you can upgrade your account

Just wait until the PS4 version can be preordered. Maybe it get the same preorder bonuses (except early access).
For the completion, don't forget to buy also the Before Meteor soundtrack for the Dalamud minion, if the newer soundtrack boxes have still the code ^^
