Its mainly to start dungeons and entering bosses without having to wait on buffs.
Nothing is being handed to you since you were gonna have to use the spells at beginning of every dungeon or titan fight...

Not earning buffs during cutscenes is another issue all together which should be fixed

After wiping to Turn5 so many times it must be annoying to see healers have to reapply buffs over and over and over before engaging twin.

Actions are still there for you to use but mainly to reapply in combat and after combat.
Also SCH vs WHM buffs. What ever potency of protect or stoneskin replaces the other.

Personally, I think it would be nice if we get Stoneskin II as a Conjurer / White Mage only AoE Stoneskin spell.

Yes but in those two seconds the rest of your party has moved out of range because "SPEED RUN!"

Reminds me of Final Fantasy 11 where it was almost a game to see if you can out run the healer buffs.

In most higher level encounters, in the time it takes to buff the party, there's a quick strategy meeting. Usually I or the WHM has finished buffing the party before people have agreed on what stats to use for the fight. You're not really saving much time by making buffs auto applied.

Yeah and I would like and auto army's paeon and auto mage ballad for then TP and MP are low. Come on, that is how your class works. Yes it suck buffing people but deals.
