/micon "Stoneskin"

/ac "Stoneskin" <1>

...etc

It works great - one button and it stoneskins your party. Get a drink for 5 seconds while it goes.

7 * 3 + 8 * 2.5 > 5.

A spell that can make stone-skin or regen aoe would be nice though...iirc 1.0 had something like that.

Some people are reacting so negatively to simple idea for an improvement. Apparently casting Stoneskin 8 times in a row builds community, teaches teamwork, punishes wrongdoers, showcases the WHM's expertise, and prevents FFXIV from becoming too casual.

I had no idea. From now on I'll insist everyone in my party stand in a perfect circle before every battle, including trash. After confirming positions, I shall then ask anyone who still has an old Stoneskin to remove it. I shall then apply new Stoneskins. This ritual gives everyone a chance to reflect on the importance of buffing 1 by 1 before combat starts.

No macros shall be used, because this ritual is hardcore.

Please save FFXIV. Please buff 1 by 1. Please change Protect to 1 by 1. No more casual buffs!

Nothing wrong with wanting an AoE stoneskin. Asking for the game to cast spells for you is beyond hilarious though. That's not an improvement that is a step backwards.

Sorry Beetle I agree with everyone else:

Buffing is part of the WHM job and that is learned early on. Sorry that you find it frustrating, but I am sure there is something that every person finds frustrating about their chosen job and would love for it to be 'easier' or auto'. I don't agree with your idea and don't think it should be implemented auto wise. Now I could see asking for an AoE Stoneskin, where when you click it (just like Pro) it will go on everyone in your party. Make it AoE, raise the MP cost a bit for using it etc.. But just having them auto appear when you enter dungeon/fight? No.

Could care less at the moment. I don't even play the job. Once I got all my relics I just stayed on my 2 mains. Didn't know that theres a marco that does it auto for you already so kinda beats why people bashing my post since its kinda already in the game. If healers don't mind how it is then I have no issues with it.

Ah yes, you can macro almost everything together to make it into a one button push, or if it's really long.. two lol. If you didn't know that, then I am glad someone mentioned it and now ya do! Macros are nice things~!

I'd like to see auto-dps and auto-heal too. How about an auto-dungeon so I can watch tv while I get my gear? You know what? Doing stuff in MMO's is an "outdated mechanic", we need an auto-play function.
