    People on the internet suck.

I don't know. MMORPG's used to be fun. Granted the only experience I had was FFXI and sure there were some meanies, but nowhere close to this game. I hear people saying this behavior is common in other games nowadays like WoW or whatever, but I don't find it an excuse. You shouldn't be allowed to behave badly just because other people behave badly somewhere else too.
It's common in every MMO I've ever played. I played WoW the longest, though, and I found there to be many helpful, kind people - at least as many kind and friendly people as there were jerks. Again, it's the internet, and anywhere there are a lot of people with the expectation of anonymity, you're going to find people who are ridiculous jerks and asshats.

I'm scared of entering a dungeon the first time. Sure I watch videos, even though mind you I shouldn't have to. Ridiculous people actually bully you into doing that. Sure I could run with the FC but it's just not that large. I think hardly any FC on my server is large.
I'm not sure why this is. TBH, I've never had a 4 man dungeon where people were verbally abusing each other except for one single time while leveling Arcanist with a particularly abusive Arcanist in the group who insisted on using his tank pet and verbally abusing the tank for not holding threat. That said, even the bad dungeons I've been in, I haven't really seen people be mean to each other. If you're that concerned, I recommend watching a video on each dungeon before going in. That way, you will know the fights ahead of time and you shouldn't have any issues.

I haven't entered Garuda Extreme yet. I'm just too scared of people. I am absolutely sure there's some move I won't dodge. Then the verbal abuse starts.
Then don't. Go with your Free Company. If you don't have a Free Company, find one. If your Free Company doesn't do PvE, then find one that will. Or network with a group of friends.

I did the Crystal Tower thing once. It was horrible. Not the dungeon that is. The people.
Yeah, Crystal Tower is a cesspit. I have stopped queuing for it as a result - I'm so sick of the people in there. They make the place god awful.

I dared to enter Bahamut's Coil once. I didn't do well, was yelled at. Never going to enter it again.

I wish someone was nice.. even once. Real life is horrible enough.. why do I pay for a game to get insulted? Grow a thicker skin you say maybe? Been bullied enough in my life to just not make that possible. Thought I could escape it here. Maybe I can't.
There are lots of nice people in the game. I'm sorry that your experience has been so bad. If your server is that awful, I recommend transferring to another one. I know Balmung is a pretty great place and I haven't had issues with the groups I've worked with here.

I think you are correct in this. Player attitude/behavior in WoW went downhill with cross-server parties - because there was no penalty for abusive behavior. When Blizzard started implementing actual penalties for being kicked (i.e. you get a debuff that won't let you re-queue for a dungeon), making sure that kicked people didn't re-queue into the party that kicked them, and allowing people to blacklist and report people cross-server, things improved immensely. In WoW, if you Blacklist someone, you will never be queued randomly into a dungeon with them. Ever. It's something that needs to be done here, imo.
