I know next to nothing about macros in this game but I'm more then willing to learn...
I want to macro embrace & leeches together maybe succor & whispering dawn .. & yes I have yet to learn leeches yet but I will be tomorrow.

/pac = pet action
/ac = action
/macroicon = macro icon = displays the icon of the spell specified (It will show as leeches instead of a blank macro icon)
<t> uses an ability onto target
<me> uses an ability onto yourself
These are the basic commands you'll need for a basic SCH macro setup.
Try working the rest out.
To combine embrace & Leeches:
/macroicon Leeches
/ac Leeches <t>
/pac Embrace <t>
Not to forget <tt> which casts on the target of your target![]()
I wouldn't put too many things in macros because this limits your choices and reaction time when reacting to different situations.
The only macros I use are:
Physic+Embrace - standard healing
Adloquium+Embrace - standard healing
Rouse+Fey Illumination+Whispering Dawn+Succor - AoE healing and regen, great for stuff like Titan stomps
Summon+Obey+Heel - required to be able to command your fairy
Lustrate+Aetherflow - "no panic" macro
This way I don't have to place EOS anywhere but can keep moving. If I start casting a heal but have to move to evade AoE, EOS will cast embrace before following me, so it helps alot in these situations.
As long as you stand still EOS will heal other party members as usual.
The Lustrate macro is also good, should you forget to use Aetherflow in the heat of battle. If Lustrate can't be casted it will use Aetherflow. So you just have to press it twice to get a Lustrate off.
Sth I did was to set
my heals to <mo>then <t>
pets heals to <t>
and did not Combine any of those
That way I can spam heals on one target with the option to cast my heals on a mouseover target.
For lazyness I macroed Obey and Heel for one button serves all.
The only macro in which I combined two spells are the fairys cd´s since I allways want them togther. Healbuff first for those rare cases I only want that. Doubletapping for both.
sweet thx everyone I'll give it a go in a few mins. I'm a ps3 user so mouse over macro seems useless for me unless I change my settings to keyboard & mouse which I have no clue how lol tho it would alot of time since I have to unplug my keyboard or headset to charge my controller which is annoying... I'll ask about that in another thread don't want to derail this one
<tt> is broke... If your out of range, or out of line of sight... It casts on yourself instead, and does not warn you that your not casting on your intended target. Very frustrating avoid... Put DPS skills on <TT> instead
You can also do the petheal on <f> While you heal <t> or vice versa, for fights where you don't have to focus a boss.
This way you can heal 2 different targets at same time!
I don't use the physic + embrace one because part of the use of the fairy is for her to spot heal for me, and find that raid healing gets tougher when a scholar does that... if you need to add extra embrace to your physic due to larger damage just have embrace as a separate button and hit it as you cast physic.
Here are some useful macros I use: (Found from this forums, if I find the thread again I'll link it so credit is given)

Sch so far has been an interesting change of pace from whm, but while I think WHM will still be my preferred healer, I don't like being a slouch at any of my jobs. These macros helped fix a lot of the things that bugged me most about healing on sch!
Using this one as an example, when I do this I get the error message in my log that <whichever line> didn't work.
Is there a way to disable seeing those errors that would still let me see if my tell is blocked by duty or things like that?
