They don't seem to be handling bots too well, server Midgar's shard/crystal market is ran by bot names such as: Cfdszfytwed... (goes longer), Fdjhzdfy..., fdgdr....
Of course I don't know these are bots, but pretty normal guesses would say so.
Also, a guildy and I found some teleporters yesterday around Quarrymill. They would teleport with a goblin (ex:2-4 characters on top of each other and when they turn it would glitch all crazy. Would nearly die each time, but then like 20 seconds after standing still they would poof away, just to teleport back with another goblin to they same coordinate.
O forgot to note they were part of some fdfdf guild (or something along those lines).
Gotta love bots!![]()

The other day as I was doing footwork for my BRD relic, I ran past some really suspicious activity in the North Shroud. Tons of Archers leveling together. But they were all acting as if they were on /follow and were even shooting at the same time. I was going to report it to SE...but I didn't think there was enough evidence that they were actually doing anything against the terms, even if it to me it was obvious, so I didn't bother. They were also from the same FC...which I guess I won't post since that'd be a 'witchhunt'.
I'm losing a bit of hope with some of the stuff I see.
If it appears to be absentee play you can report it anyway, usually worth a couple of GM /tells if nothing else. The other day as I was doing footwork for my BRD relic, I ran past some really suspicious activity in the North Shroud. Recently I decided to try something out with my blacklist, a few weeks ago it was pushing 150 names (I delete the (deleted) every once in a while). I wanted to see what would happen if I cleared the list (one because it was getting big and two some hacked accounts were probably returned at this point). So two weeks ago I cleared the list, to date I have added 3 RMT due to /tell advertisements and have seen no shout spam, I'm on for several hours a night at least. Take of this what you will.

Better a false, hoenst intentions report than ignoring a possible bot in my opinion. But to me looks like a power levelling train. The other day as I was doing footwork for my BRD relic, I ran past some really suspicious activity in the North Shroud. Tons of Archers leveling together. I believe there is SOME monitoring going on albeit not full force. I was mining some nodes for ores and was going back and forth over the same 5 nodes based on respawns. I had created a general path I was following when all of a sudden my chest piece i was wearing changed to another piece in my Armoury. Needless to say, i was like WTF and changed it back to what I originally had on. Seemed like a GM was checking to see if I was actually there or if I was running a bot program.![]()
The developers don't care.
They'll "care" when doing so seems conducive to their own goals; ie when combating RMT can be done by making a grind longer, that's got to be modern MMO developers' wet dream.

So yeah this person/bot is still in the exact same spot doing the exact same thing even after reporting them twice. Sorry SE but I will not be reporting anymore.
